Hi, I’m Monica

— a storyteller, illustrator, photographer, and mom who believes that feelings are not weaknesses — they’re proof that we’re alive.

My creative work is rooted in empathy.
I make books, art, and meaningful little things that help children and adults feel understood, brave, and beautifully themselves — especially on the days when emotions feel too big.

I’ve learned the hard way that comfort isn’t just a soft place to land…
it’s a powerful force that builds resilience.
So I create stories and art that give people permission to feel, to heal, and to believe in a hopeful future — one page, one image, one message at a time.

Every project I create carries the same heartbeat:

Beauty. Empathy. Understanding.

I want my work to be something you can gift to a child who needs reassurance, or keep for yourself on a night when the world feels heavy.
Because none of us should have to navigate our feelings alone — not at five years old, and not at fifty.

This is the beginning of the world I’m building —
a world where emotional courage is celebrated, where creativity gives us connection, and where every heart realizes:
Everything will be okay.

More stories, art, and magical creations are on the way. Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey.
